In order to improve the research level of our School, and promote the academic exchange in the field of Health Management both at home and abroad, on Oct. 13th, Vice Dean of our School Wei Lai and Associated Professor Feng Yi attended the 1stHealth Integration Conference hold in the School of Medicine and Health Management, Huazhong University of Science & Technology.
This conference was sponsored by the School of Medicine and Health Management, Huazhong University of Science & Technology, and the conference theme was “Health Integrations: Vision and Practice from Germany and China”. Firstly, Dean of School of Medicine and Health Management Zhang Liang gave an excellent opening speech, and in the following stage, Health Integrations experts and practitioners, including Professor Jens-Uwe Niehoff from Humboldt University of Berlin, Professor Breinlinger-Oreilly from Berlin School of Economics and Law, Professor Manfred Wildner from University of Munich, Professor Dai Tao from Chinese Academy of Medical Science, Vice Zhenjiang government Secretary and Zhenjiang Health and Family Planning Commision Director Ren Linfeng, and some Health Administration Leaders from Qianjiang District, Chongqing Municipality, and Xi County Henan Province, gave the special lectures respectively, these lectures not only introduced the frontier academic of health integrations, but also discussed the experience and issues existed in the health integration practices. Delegates attended this conference reached a consensus that the health integrations went through the process from theory to practice, and also from developed countries to developing countries. WHO encouraged each country to pay more attention on theory and practice of health integrations in their health reform practice.
This conference attracted more than 40 experts from Zhongshan University, Harbin Medical University, Capital Medical University, Nanjing Medical University, Zunyi Medical University, Guangzhou Medical University, Hangzhou Normal University, Wuhan University, The Second Military Mecical University and Huangzhou University of Science & Technology. Our School attended this academic conference, in order to improve the research atmosphere, and enhance the communication with Health Management fields at home and abroad.
